New Spin on Winter Wedding Flowers

I'm really pleased to have gotten a great variety in the weddings I've done for this winter. No two weddings were alike which made it a fun time of creating and designing for me! Minnesota bride Julie came to me with a purple and white color scheme but had some great ideas for details to make her winter wonderland silk wedding flowers come together.

We took a simple design of a single white Calla boutonniere and dressed it up with some Willow branches that I painted white.

For the corsages we used mini Pom Pom Mums in white--don't they look like little snowballs? We added some deep purple ribbon and some sparkly rhinestones to give these little beauties an icy shine.

Julie ended up adding a cake topper to her order after we had originally figured out all her other arrangements.

The bouquets are always my favorite part of custom wedding flowers packages, so be sure and take a look tomorrow to see Julie's beautiful bouquets.

Real Wedding: Bekah Part 3

I'm so excited to be showing you these fabulous pictures from Bekah's June wedding. You may remember her flowers once you see these gorgeous shots, or check out part 1 and part 2 of the feature I did on her flowers back in July.

These images of Bekah and her groom getting their "first look" are so sweet. And isn't her birdcage veil just gorgeous?!

White Calla Lilies and Roses--classic and stunning!

The bridesmaid bouquets all ready to go.

All boutonnieres and corsages come labeled for their recipients, making it easy for your coordinator to get the right flower to the right person.

Ruth & Michael- Boutonnieres & Corsages

The orchids worked perfectly for the boutonnieres and corsages. We found ways to make the bridal party members match each other and for all the other personal flowers to fit the feel.

Groom's Bout: White Orchid and magenta Orchid

Groomsmen: Purple Hydrangea and magenta Orchid

Ruth's dad passed away a few years ago and Ruth had chosen a dear friend to walk her down the aisle. His boutonniere had a magenta and a lavender Orchid.

Mothers' Wristlets: White orchid, magenta orchid, boxwood, Sangria ribbon, pearl wristlet

Officiant: White Orchid

Ruth chose to honor some very special people with flowers, many of whom I knew. It was a very sentimental moment to be creating these flowers with each person in mind.

Last up: Come back tomorrow to see how Ruth and Michael chose to honor their Dads.

Sangria (Part 2)

We wanted the same flowers and colors to blend through to the personal flowers for Danielle's wedding. We added a mini Calla Lilly in a darker shade of the Sangria to make the Groom's bout stand out. We used one of the Cream/Sangria callas for the Groomsmen bouts and for the ringbearer, we used a mini ivory calla. We used ivory callas for the rest of the bouts and corsages and even added some bling. Check out the pictures below to see exactly how the flowers were incorporated.

Thanks to Danielle for giving me the chance to find another way to use this gorgeous jewel tone in a new and beautiful way.
